Thirukkural, also known as the Kural, is a classic Tamil poetic work written by Thiruvalluvar, a Tamil poet and philosopher. Composed around 2,000 years ago, it consists of 1,330 couplets or Kurals, addressing various aspects of life, ethics, and morality. Thirukkural is divided into three books: Aram (virtue), Porul (wealth), and Inbam (love).
Each Kural is concise and focuses on universal values and ethical principles. Thiruvalluvar's work has transcended time and cultural boundaries, influencing literature and philosophy not only in Tamil Nadu but also globally. They are gathering 1000+ singers from all over the world for this project including some legendary musicians and established artists in the music industry... This enormous project is set to release by June 2024...
The tamil synopsis is written by the veteran lyricist and tamil scholar "Shakthivaasan" and the English synopsis is written by the veteran journalist and writer and Lydian's dear uncle "Vishwas Gaitonde".
These synopsis helps people to understand the Thirukkurals very easily and grasp the true essence of it and being a musical composition, it is even more easier to memorise the Thirukkurals and as well as the meanings, Musically too!
